GGU Stability v8.08

GGU-STABILITY makes it possible to investigate not only slope failure using circular slip surfaces (Bishop or Krey) and polygonal slip surfaces (Janbu), in addition to rigid body failure mechanisms and block sliding methods, but also to dimension soil nailing and reinforced earth walls. The nailing of a wall can be proven for: * Anchors * Soil nails * Geosynthetics The following are separately implemented: * Proof of inner stability according to Janbu, rigid body failure. mechanisms, block slip method. * Slip stability. * Overturning stabilityBase failure safety. * Slope failure safety (Bishop). * Dimensioning of bending of the concrete shell, using the export function to export data to the GGU program GGU-SLAB as a solid slab (fully reinforced), horizontally continuous slab...

GGU Slab v6.0

The GGU-SLAB program can analyse slabs using the subgrade reaction modulus and the con-strained modulus methods. The finite-element method using triangle elements is employed tosolve the differential equation. The subgrade modulus profile can be varied as required with al-most no constraints. The constrained modulus distribution can be defined via stratigraphic profilesand an interpolation mesh. This allows any imaginable stratigraphy to be generated.Further important capabilities include:• limiting depth analysis to DIN 4019 for constrained modulus method,• any type of slab boundary including with holes,• linearly variable subgrade within an element,• beam elements for modelling footing beams, for example,• single springs, perpendicular to slab, e.g. for modelling piles. The program system includes a powerful mesh generator and easy-to-use routines for comfortableevaluation of the...

GGU Retain v4.42

GGU-RETAIN allows the analysis of sheet pile walls, soldier pile walls and in-situ concretewalls (bored pile walls, diaphragm walls and contiguous pile walls). The application is essentially based on the Recommendations of the Working Group for Excava-tions (German: EAB) and the Recommendations of the Committee for Waterfront Structures (EAU2004). Virtually all the cases considered by the Working Groups are included as examples. Aspecial feature of the application is automatically finding the earth-pressure redistribution valuessuggested by the EAB. For analysis and design both the global safety factor concept to DIN 1054(old) and the new partial safety factor concept to DIN 1054 (new) may be taken into considera-tion. Details of special features can be found in Section 2 of this manual. The application is...

GGU Triaxial 3.13

The test data can be entered by hand, if wished, or imported as an ASCII file. After the input of all relevant parameters the test results can immediately be presented graphically on the screen. You can choose between different presentation forms and graphics:Tau-sigma diagram Stress paths Load-compression lines Pore water pressure-compression lines Stress ratio-compression lines Sigma 3-compression lines Volume-compression lines Protocol A MiniCAD system is available for additional labelling of graphics.Product:GGU Triaxial 3.13 Lanaguage:english Platform:Winxp/Win7 Size:1MB

GGU Transient v4.10

For a transient calculation of groundwater flow, a stable initial condition is required. This initial condition is found by the program GGU-TRANSIENT from a file (e.g. PLGW.DA1) which is created from a previous analysis undertaken with the program GGU-SS FLOW 2D. This data must be loaded as the first action after starting the program. In addition to the analysis results, the data file also contains the relevant soil and input parameters for the analysis. These fundamental parameters (e.g. k, neff etc.) cannot be modified in the GGU-TRANSIENT program. If they are altered, then the soil parameters will no longer match the potentials and flows, and the transient calculations will be meaningless. Of course, for all groundwater flow problems (planar vertical, planar...

GGU TRENCH 5.10

The GGU-TRENCH program allows the calculation and presentation of inner and outer stability of retaining wall laminae. For proof of stability of retaining wall laminae the following factors are calculated:Safety against groundwater ingress into the retaining wall trench Safety against slipage of single grains or grain groups Safety against subsurface slip planes endangering the retaining wall trench As data input is in accordance with Windows conventions it can be learnt almost without the use of a handbook. True-type fonts, colour output and bitmaps are supported.Product:GGU TRENCH 5.10 Lanaguage:english Platform:Winxp/Win7 Size:1.4MB

GGU Borelog 4.14

To create well logs. Utilising the possibility of data transfer with the drilled profile program GGU-STRATIG, you need only enter your horizon data once. The input of horizons can be carried out with user-defined abbreviations. The program can load and create the \”SEP” data format. An optically high quality output follows the data input.Product:GGU Borelog 4.14 Lanaguage:english Platform:Winxp/Win7 Size:2MB

GGU Time Graph v6.15

Management and presentation of measurements in the form of walking lines and isographs. Data transfer with automatic measurement values (MDS) is possible. One area of application is, for example, the graphical presentation of groundwater depth in a set of sounding wells, over any period of time. If the positions (x and y coordinates) of the wells (points of measurement) are known, the data can be used in position orientated plans for the following purposes: Isographs Colour filled isographs Colour filled 3-D graphics Colour filled 3-D grid graphics The measurement data can be statistically analysed and graphically presented.[img][/img]Product:GGU Time Graph v6.15 Lanaguage:english Platform:Winxp/Win7 Size:2MB
