The 2D analysis can be integrated with the 1D analysis typical of many SewerGEMS modeling. With the 2D analysis, you will be able to model 1D/2D urban flooding, including 2D flow from overtopping structures, and rainfall runoff, including overflows and direct rainfall on terrain.
