Vera language was orginally developed in Sun Micro Systems for internal ASIC verification projects. Later VERA language with VERA compiler was marketed by System Science. System Science later sold Vera to Synopsys. Synopsys released closed Vera language as openVera, which was later implemented in VCS as NTB. Currently OpenVera is support is support by @hdl Simulator, and VCS Compiler. space.gif Later Synopsys donated parts of Vera language to Verilog to give Verilog unified design and Verification feature. This new language is called SystemVerilog.product:Synopsys Vera vD-2009.12 Lanaguage:english Platform:Linux Size:287 MB

the design technology leader for complex IC design, announced the immediate availability of VERA(TM) CORE, a new high-level verification tool that enables intellectual property (IP) providers and their customers to share an IP verification environment. With VERA CORE, IP providers develop portable VERA testbenches, monitors and functional coverage reports for creating high quality IP. Their customers can easily reuse these elements to cut verification time of their system-on-a-chip(SoC) design embedding 1. (mathematics) embedding – One instance of some mathematical object contained with in another instance, e.g. a group which is a subgroup.2. (theory) embedding – (domain theory) A complete partial order F in [X -> Y] is an embedding if the IP. \”VERA was instrumental in our ability to bring...

Synopsys System-Level Libraries provide product development teams with a comprehensive set of transaction-level models (TLMs) that serve as the building blocks of virtual prototypes. Virtual prototypes are fully functional software models of complete embedded systems, enabling architecture exploration, pre-silicon software development and software-driven verification. The ability to parallelize the hardware and software development effort through virtual prototypes significantly reduces the product design cycle and speeds time to market. Synopsys offers the broadest set of models, ranging from cycle-accurate and fast simulation models of processor subsystems all the way to performance optimized peripheral models representing the Synopsys DesignWare Interface IP.product:Synopsys DesignWare System-Level Library 2009.12 Lanaguage:english Platform:Winxp/Win7 Size:645MB
Synopsys Innovator 2009.12 SP1 New Release. The Growing Importance of SoftwareSoftware development has traditionally trailed the hardware development as part of a sequential design flow. However, today most chips simply will not reach volume production without the availability of the associated software. Therefore, it has become imperative that design teams start software development as early as possible in the design flow, ideally in parallel to hardware development. Synopsys SolutionSynopsys’ Innovator provides an integrated development environment for embedded system developers to efficiently develop, execute and debug virtual platforms. In addition to the ability to integrate transaction-level models from various sources, Innovator eases the authoring of SystemC TLM-2.0 compatible models. Once a virtual platform is assembled and verified with Innovator, it can...
